There are various StrengthsFinder books, but the original book about the StrengthsFinder test was published in 2001, by the Gallup organization.
Now, Discover Your Strengths was written by Don Clifton, (chairman of Gallup), and sold more than 2 million copies.
In 2007, Gallup upgraded the StrengthsFinder test and published StrengthsFinder 2.0, which has become the top non-fiction book on Amazon.
When you buy the StrengthsFinder book, which costs $34, you’ll get an access code. This StrengthsFinder access code is in a sealed envelope at the back of the book. The code will allow you to take the StrengthsFinder test online, at no extra charge.
If you would prefer not to buy the StrengthsFinder book, you can take the test online for $19.99 and learn your top five strengths. If you’d like to know all 34 of your strengths (in order, from strongest to weakest), you can unlock those for an additional $69. Please note that we strongly advise that you learn only your top 5 strengths to begin. Once you’re confident managing and maximizing your top five strengths, you can pay an additional $69 to unlock all 34 strengths in order.
The Gallup organization has also published other books about strengths, including:
- Strengths Based Leadership (aimed at leaders)
- StrengthsQuest (aimed at students, designed to help them choose academic paths and careers)
- StrengthsExplorer (aimed at children, ages 10-14)
